The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
